About LoveMyFile

A free, private toolkit for the everyday PDF and image jobs.

Why we built this

Most online PDF and image tools ask you to upload your files, create an account, or pay a monthly fee. We thought it should be simpler: open a tool, pick a file from your device, and download the result — with nothing ever leaving your browser.

LoveMyFile launched in May 2026. Today we ship 40 browser-native tools across PDF, image, and file utilities.

Privacy first

Your files never leave your device. Every public tool runs inside your browser tab — verify it in the Network panel anytime.

Free, with no catch

No premium plan, no daily quota, and no limits. Every tool works the same for everyone, every time.

Fast and focused

Clean tools that do one thing well, with friendly defaults and clear results.

How privacy is verified

Every public tool is powered by modern open-source libraries that run directly inside your browser (for example pdf-lib for PDF structure work). That means your files are never uploaded for processing, your work stays private, and the tools keep working after the page has loaded even if our server goes offline.

To verify: open DevTools → Network, run a tool on a test file, and confirm there is no upload of your document. Marketing claims are easy; architecture is checkable. Read our State of Online File Privacy 2026 research and the private PDF tools overview.

Who writes here

Josh C.Founder & Privacy Tools Engineer. Josh builds browser-native file tools that process data on-device. Previously a full-stack engineer focused on client-side architecture for privacy-sensitive applications. Founded LoveMyFile in 2026 to prove that powerful file processing does not require uploading your documents to someone else's server.

Guides live under Blog / Guides. If a future feature cannot run client-side, we will say so plainly rather than quietly routing your file through a cloud conversion API.
