Why use a browser-based remove background?
Background removal used to require desktop software like Photoshop. Then it moved to cloud APIs — fast and accurate, but every photo you process is uploaded to a server you do not control. For product photos, team headshots, or anything with people in it, that is a privacy concern.
LoveMyFile runs a TensorFlow.js AI model directly in your browser. The model downloads once (a few megabytes) and then runs entirely on your device. No image is uploaded, no API is called, and the model works offline after the first load.
The result is a transparent PNG you can place on any background — white for a product catalog, a solid color for a presentation, or a new scene entirely. The cut-out edges are anti-aliased for a clean look.

Common issues and fixes
- Some background is still visible around the edges.
- The AI model handles most subjects well but very fine details (hair, fur, translucent objects) may not be perfectly separated. Try uploading a higher-resolution image, or use the Photo Editor to manually touch up the edges.
- The tool is slow on the first use.
- The AI model downloads on first use (a few megabytes). After that, it is cached by the browser and runs instantly. Subsequent images process in 1–3 seconds.
- The result has a checkered background instead of transparent.
- The checkered pattern is how image viewers display transparency — it is not part of the image. When you place the PNG on a website or document, the background will be transparent.
